Managing Director

Rob Mark, the Managing Director of Mark & Partners, was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and comes from a famous international tennis playing family.

Until 1986 Rob worked in the family sports business as Business Development Manager, after which he moved to Cape Town to concentrate on his tennis career.

In 1992 he moved to Germany to play and coach tennis at one of Germanys top `Bundes League´ Tennis Clubs - ETUF Essen e.V.

In 1995, with his Belgian and German business partners, he co-founded the company `Markon GmbH´, a beverage import, export, sales and distribution company.  

Their clientele included German and International Blue Chip companies such as Coors Brewing Company (USA), Scottish & Newcastle LLC (UK), Beer Schneider GmbH & Co KG (Germany) and Lindemans Brewery (Belgium), to mention a few.

From 2003 until 2006 Rob worked as freelance agent and consultant for various German and International companies specializing in marketing, brand management and English/German business development.

In 2007 Rob founded the company `Mark Blu´ a brand development/management and marketing company. Mark Blu introduced their own range of `Sterile Eye and Wound Sprays´ into the Pharmaceutical and Medical sectors of the German market.

Mak Blu was later transformed and its activities integrated into `Mark & Partners´, which now specialises in English/German business development, marketing and business brokerage.

Rob has a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies (DMS) from the University of Wales, and is presently completing his MBA.
